New: Green Pin Tycan^® 40 mm Lifting Chain

Green Pin® has extended its range of Green Pin Tycan® with a 40 mm Lifting Chain. The Lifting Chain was available with a working load limit of 2.6 tons, 4 tons, 5 tons and 6.8 tons and can now be used up to 10.3 ton WLL. Green Pin Tycan^® Lifting Chain has been created from the world's strongest man-made fibre, Dyneema^®, and is a link chain that has all the performance and flexibility of steel chain but is a fraction of the weight. It is extremely safe to use, non-corrosive, non-conductive and completely waterproof. In fact, it even floats!

The soft touch and light weight make Green Pin Tycan^® easy to use, allow quicker application and greatly reduce the potential of damage to cargo, a critical factor when handling objects with sensitive surfaces. By using Green Pin Tycan® companies achieve greater efficiency and a safer working environment for their staff. 40 mm Green Pin Tycan® Components

The Green Pin® assortment features components which are specially designed for use with the Green Pin Tycan® Chain. To create a complete sling assembly, the following components are available:

One of the advantages of the Green Pin Tycan® Chain is that it can be shortened easily by using the Green Pin Tycan® Grab Hook. Green Pin® hooks for chain hoists

The Green Pin® chain fittings assortment includes many hooks in grade 8, 10, and stainless steel. Green Pin® hooks are normally used in combination with lifting chain. But Green Pin® has also developed clevis pins to suit 5, 7 and 9 mm hoist chain. A Green Pin® hook upgrades your hoist with a stronger hook and a robust latch. If the hook of your chain hoist is damaged or needs to be replaced, why not replace it with one of the below Green Pin® grade 8 hooks with adapted clevis pin:

•   Swivel Sling Hook with clevis end-fitting (CSECA)
•   Swivel Self Locking Hook with clevis end-fitting (XLBA)
•   Self Locking Hook with clevis end-fitting (XLC)
•   Sling Hook with clevis end-fitting (CSC)

If the chain hoist is used in a theatre, Green Pin® can (by special request) also supply the hook with black paint, just like the Green Pin® Theatre Shackle, to make the components less visible.
